This weeks senior’s of the week are both very active in many school activities. Megan Hietala and Dakota Berbrich are both involved in band and knowledge bowl. Megan has been in choir, speech, and theater. Dakota has been in jazz band and band since sixth grade and he has played many instruments, including alto, baritone, and tenor saxophone.

Megan Hietala plans on getting a master’s degree in Music Therapy from Augsburg University and work with mental health patients. Megan enjoys music and often sings in her free time. She also enjoys writing and playing video games.

Dakota Berbrich is going to attend Iowa State University and get his master’s degree in computer engineering. Dakota hopes to make a positive influence on the world whether that be through his future job or public service.

Both Dakota and Megan have excelled in their academic activites and both have bright futures as graduates of New Ulm Public High School.
