Students at NUHS are offered a class called Intro to Business in which they learn how to run a business and what it takes to start one up.
The students taking Intro to Business got to take a look at a local business called United Commercial Upholstery which many students found fascinating.
” It was a cool experience that we got to go to a local business and see what it takes to produce these products,” Intro to Business student Zach Fischer said.
Intro to business students are currently strategizing ideas on what they would like to start a business on.
Students have to take their business out into the community and compete against other businesses created by other students making a minimum of at least 5 dollars.
” I really do think my business is gonna make the most money, I mean who wouldn’t wanna check out my business,” Intro to Business student Rene Garza said.
