Junior Brielle Evans is working on her first drawing assignment in Ms. Paige’s 6th-hour Drawing and Painting Class to get comfortable with her shading techniques and accurate proportions in sketching. The class has been working on this project since the first week of the semester, and is wrapping it up now. The students had to cut out and glue together a collage of objects, measure the objects’ sizes and double them for their drawing, and then sketch a drawing as accurately as possible to the collage they had created. “I enjoyed this project because once you start shading, everything comes together,” said Brielle.
