The New Ulm Football team played Albert Lea on home turf on Friday, September 8, and ended the night with a big win 29-12. Many fans came and supported the team since it was the first game of the season, but with the lead in our hands, the eagle spirit was at an all-time high. The football team’s spirit remained high as they reflected on the game in their team huddle. A dedicated fan Brooklyn Hagberg said, “This game was one to remember with the high energy in the student section, the boys getting a big W, and the 4 square after the game really just completed my night as one that I’ll never forget.”
