As I walk around the school I am greeted by some new artwork. They’re in the classrooms and the halls, searching high and low for some great new pieces of art that brighten up the school.
“I really like the Installation Projects; it’s really cool to see what our students create. They put the projects in places that you don’t really notice until they’re there,” NUHS English Teacher Mrs. Nelson said.
Some students have different views of the Installation Projects, such as NUHS Senior Biana Prescot. “I don’t really care about them; I have the stuff to do.”
There are definitely mixed feelings among the students and staff; some expressed creepy, creative, and also cool.
“It’s interesting, and you don’t expect it, it’s cool, but it’s like when you don’t see it, like, why is there a house or like a tree in the building,” Senior Taylor Pelletier said.
As the school year comes to an end more and more installations will be taken down, and the school will go back to grey, pun sort of intended.
