In Advanced Art class the students are working with clay on their pottery and sculpture projects. Two of the students, Evelyn Schaefer and Pearl Kowalke, are making their projects based on a giraffe and Mr. Dinkles from the Trolls movie. “It’s a pretty self-paced class,” Evelyn said. “You can do a project on anything you want.” This class focuses on using techniques from previous art classes and trying to make it more difficult and add more detail rather than a simple drawing.
It is a good class to take some stress off of the other classes because there is no homework or tests to worry about. You simply show up and work on a project that interests you. “I love that class!” Pearl said.
