If you’ve taken Mr. Engeldinger’s journalism class, you’ve learned that stories “abound on our campus but can be hidden in plain sight.” This insight has inspired these seniors to constantly be on the lookout for stories wherever they go. Taylor Hauenstein and Isabelle Fuhr often use their free time in class to find event-worthy happenings that they can talk about in the New Ulm Eagle. This day, the pair wandered down to the gym area. They peered into phy-ed class and took a few pictures of students forming healthy habits. After that, they took a short break to practice their tennis skills in the equipment closet before returning to class to work on their stories.
