On Friday, May 15, from 7-10 pm, the student council members held a spring event at the football field. This would be the last big event they would throw for the school, so they decided to make sure it was just right. They brought out the old but good things that people were happy with, like bean bags and ultimate football.
Many of the students noticed the difference in this event compared to the rest. For example, a few new games were added that shocked students. Bradyn Hagevold, who was a part of the fun, had a few words to say. He mentioned how surprised he was to see a ladder toss and how many food trucks were there.

There were many more food trucks at this event, and the students took advantage of them. Some people would try a dish here, then go to another food truck for drinks.
One food truck that was a new sight for everyone was a plaza food truck. Owner of Plaza, Juan Ocampo, said this was their first time coming out as a food truck, and they had a lot of business that night.
Some students really enjoyed the food they offered. “They have the best chicken and rice I’ve ever had,” said Owen Rasche. He later mentioned how well the rice and chicken went with the queso they had.
He was one of several students who enjoyed the food trucks, and for those who didn’t want food, there was froyo offered by the student council itself. Some of the lucky ones who stayed the whole night got free froyo at the end, bringing happiness to the students.
This sums up how great the spring event was, how the student council members really did a great job, and why they will have an even bigger crowd next year.
