The girl who can do it all
You may know Jesalyn Skogloud from soccer, track & field, student council, National Honor Society, or just your everyday classes. However, one thing you may not know is how she manages all these activities while still finding time for friends and family.
In school, Jes is among the top of her class and serves as a member of the National Honor Society. She manages these two things while also taking high-level college classes such as Algebra, Trigonometry, Spanish, and Global Perspectives.
Jes is committed to continuing her academic and soccer career at Buena Vista University in Iowa after she graduates in 2027. Sports altogether have always been a huge part of her life, having played Soccer, Basketball, and Track & Field. But Soccer has always been at the top of the list. “In soccer you don’t just have to run, you run with a purpose and you have a team. I like that,” Jes said.
Alongside soccer, Jes participates in high jump and sprinting events on the track. She is one of our top sprinters, and she also competes in the high jump, clearing over five feet. In the Section Championship May 27 at Gustavus, she jumped 5 foot, barely missing 5’2 and placing 8th.
