Visionary threads of success

An enthusiastic designer of New Ulm Public High School
Visionary threads of success

Throughout high school, Brighton Muklebust, a NUHS senior, has stayed involved in a variety of activities, from sketching ideas to working directly in the fashion world.

Brighton has shown both her creativity and work ethic through participating in Knowledge Bowl while balancing internships, apprenticeships, and multiple jobs.

One of her most meaningful experiences has been apprenticing with Mrs.Stadick in a first-grade class. Working with young students teaches her patience, communication, and leadership.

In addition to apprenticing, Brighton interns at Vagabond Village in Mankato, where she gains hands on experience in a professional environment, connecting with her interests.

Brighton also works at Wunerberg Collective in New Ulm and continues working at Vagabond Village on Fridays outside of her internship hours.

Balancing school, work, and extracurriculars has not always been easy.

Her determination to balance school, work, and extracurriculars has not been easy, but her passion for fashion continues to push her toward her goals.

As graduation is approaching, Brighton is excited to begin the next chapter of her journey and pursue the career she has worked hard to build.

She is set to attend the University of Wisconsin-Stout, studying fashion design, with the long term goal of becoming a successful fashion designer and eventually living in New York City.
