On Thursday, February 5, at the New Ulm Civic Center, the New Ulm Girls Hockey team had its first section game against Worthington (Trojans). The Eagles were the higher seed, meaning they got to play at home in their first section game of trying to punch a ticket to state with a new head coach. The Girls’ Hockey won against the Trojans 8-0. Now New Ulm will have to face the Marshall Tigers on Saturday in Marshall. Going into this game is going to be tuff because they are heading to Marshall, but sophomore Zoey Zins said, “Our team’s strategy is not giving up and giving it our full potentional to the best ability we can”.
