Sophia Berger, a senior on the gymnastics team, shared her feelings about finishing her last season. She said, ¨I’m gonna miss the feeling of flying on floor and, like, beam and vault. And then I’m gonna miss all my friends, of course, hanging out with y’all.¨

Sections will take place on February 13, and assistant coach Alyssa Sellner shared her thoughts going into the competition. She said, ¨To have fun. To leave sections’ content with the way they performed.¨

Losing three seniors will have a significant impact on the gymnastics team. Ainsley Tess explained how important they have been, saying, ¨They helped us keep us in the high 120s and led us to many victories. And I’ve grown up with them; they helped me, personally, as a gymnast, grow in gymnastics, and also physically and mentally.¨

The New Ulm Eagles gymnastics team plans to work hard in the coming week by learning new skills, perfecting old ones, and working together to continue improving.
