When it comes to Braylon Jensen, he is a standout student here at New Ulm High School.
Jensen was raised here in New Ulm. “I remember playing football at recess and having lunch with my friends; this was my favorite part,” Jensen said.
When it comes to middle school, for Braylon, this is his favorite time of his life. Minimal academic stress, don’t have a job, and just chilling with friends. “I was in football with head coach Mr. Wilson and in basketball with coach Mr. Rhinhart,” said Jensen.
Fast-forward to freshman year. “I was nervous, didn’t know my place yet, what I wanted to do, or who I wanted to be,” said Jensen.
Jensen then joined the Soccer team, found his footing, and realized high school isn’t as bad as it seems. Later that year, Jensen was also in Basketball and in golf.
“Going into my senior year, I have decided that sports are just not my thing anymore. I need to focus on college and working,” Jensen said. Sports are still a big part of his life, playing basketball in his backyard with his friends, as well as other sports.

Brayon Jensen takes great pride in his car. “Building and seeing what I can do to my car is a big hobby of mine,” said Jensen.
Braylon has a 2021 Dodge Charger GT in his favorite color on a car, dark blue. The first thing he had done was order an exhaust system, and then for his birthday, he got window tint.
“On October 4 of this year, I was going to McDonald’s wth my brother when I was pulled over and got a ticket for my tint,” Jensen said.
After high school, Jensen plans on going to Kansas to go to college for vehicle restoration.
“Most weekends when my grandpa is free, he and I work on restoring a 1937 Chevy truck,” Jensen said.
