People have their own taste in shoe style, luckily there are many options out there for many different types of people. There are many kids at NUHS that wear many different types of shoes like Cowboy Boots, Birkenstocks, New Balances, UGGs, Jordan’s, Air Forces, Reebok, Dudes, Vans, Adidas, Under Armor, to say a few. I chose to write about the main shoes that girls prefer and wear often that became in style recently. Birkenstocks/Birkenstock platforms and New Balances are the most common for girls to wear along with “Air Forces”. These types of choices are personally comfortable and go well with most outfits girls would wear.

I chose to interview Carley Achman on what she thinks of Birkenstocks/Birkenstock platforms and New Balances. I notice that she wears these two types of shoes a lot and she seems to like them not only because they are in style but because they look like they are comfortable to walk in and wear around. Carley wears these to school, outside of school, and shopping. Carley said, “Both of these pair of shoes get me where I need to go and are the most comf (comfy) shoes ever and go with pretty much all of my outfits.”

“I could wear these all day,” she said, and “I feel so much better when I’m wearing comfy shoes.”
