The New Ulm High School greenhouse comes into full swing as the 2017-2018 year comes around. With the first year of the greenhouse in the books, the second year is just beginning with the horticulture class with all hands on deck getting it ready for the upcoming year. Last year brought many upgrades to the greenhouse, including an aquaponics system complete with 4 hybrid perch. Funding for the greenhouse and its systems was provided by grants and private donations.

The greenhouse provides a great educational opportunity for students with hands-on learning. Future upgrades include the possible construction of solar panels and wind generator.
