The New Ulm Eagles took on the Marshall Tigers in a conference game on Friday, Feb. 26. This was a big game for the Eagles. By winning, they put themselves in a good spot for the conference championship game at the end of February. The Tigers are always a tough opponent for the Eagles to play. “They are a good team, and they always show up to play,” said freshman Levi Hopp.

New Ulm boys soccer defeated St. Peter in the black division title game. The Eagles  shut out the Saints 5-0 on Thursday night. New Ulm coach Tim Plocher said, "The boys look ready for conference champs on Tuesday against Marshall."

The New Ulm Eagles host the Fairmont Cardinals Friday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. "Our goal is to make them uncomfortable by using speed to our advantage, and come out hot with the passing attack," senior Brody Hacker said. Fairmont is currently undefeated and are ranked third in the state for class 3A.

"I'm proud of my team and how hard they work everyday at practice. We worked hard for this win and amazing season, but we ain't done yet," head coach Tim Plocher said.
