Movie Review: Logan
More stories from Jack Bodick
Logan is the movie that tied up the story of one of the best known X-men, Wolverine. For those of you who know little about Wolverine, or even the X-men in general. The character Wolverine is a mutant, which means that he has super powers. One of his powers is his incredible healing power, this lets him recover from almost any wound within seconds. He also has a skeleton made out of an indestructible metal called Adamantium. Added on to these two powers he also has claws that retract from between his knuckles on each hand. Now that you have some background information on the main character heres what its all about (without any spoilers of course). In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. However, Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces. The lead role, Logan, is played by Hugh Jackman. Some of the other cast member are Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, and Dafne Keen. Overall the movie was very good. There were no points in the movie where I had lost interest in the story. My rating of this movie would be 4 out of 5 stars. I definitely would recommend it to people who are interested in the superhero genre of movies.
