      • Keagan Shiro practices correct social distancing while in the weight room. Students that attend New Ulm Public High School have undergone many different changes in the building itself, such as in the gym or weight room where students are able to take off their masks while working out. This has become a luxury for the students this year as there is very little leniency with any of the rules in the buildings. These rules include following the arrows in the hallways, not congregating in the halls and cafeteria, seating apart from the students at the lunch tables, and wearing a mask at all times besides when taking a mask break.

      • Claire Hoffman and Danielle Sowers Participate in 2020 Homecoming Dress Up Day. This years 2020 homecoming week had been postponed in September, and Students are excited to be participating in this not so normal high school experience. Danielle Sowers states that she "was going for Harry Potter again" as she had previously dressed up as him for Halloween two weeks prior to Homecoming week.  The students look forward to being able to dress up and express themselves even if it is not the same as years before. This week there will be dress-up days every day, coronation on Monday, and a football game on Thursday. Although not all students are able to attend the after-school events they continue to show their school pride in different ways.
