The last Joi meeting of the year took place today (5-10-17) at lunch. This was the last meeting with the seniors and our president Anna Uehling. Jacob Todd is officially the new Joi president and is going to start looking into one summer meeting before next year starts. The last meeting ended with a pizza party and us getting our new shirts that Anna Uehling designed. We are really glad that we got to end the year good!! We also learned today that the next year Joi members will be able to attend the 2017 We Day!!!!!!! This year Joi did projects like We Scare Hunger, We Day, Thanksgiving cards, Jean Drive, Sole Hope Project, Christmas cards, Valentine’s day cards at Oak Hills, Earth Day contest, and May day cards at school. We also got it approved to send our Sole Hope Project to Uganda in East Africa!!! The seniors are sad to go but the club looks forward to finding new members!!
