During Maddi's final year of playing hockey, she wanted to take every single moment and soak it in.
She has been playing hockey for 8 years and on many different teams.
Over the years, she has received many all-conference awards and others she will never forget.
Her teammate sophomore Zoey Zins said, “She always shows up and works toward what she wants to accomplish in practice or a game.”
Zins has been playing with Maddi for a long time. In hockey, they are friends off and on the ice. "I've always looked up to Maddi as a role model, cause she's always there, no matter what situation it is, she's always got my back."
Maddi is also committed to Bethel State for hockey, where she will play with many of her former teammates from the Eagles.
Maddi's advice for younger kids is to “always work hard and be yourself.”
