Miss Melby’s New FACS room
There has been many updates to the new FACS room compared to the old one. The classroom is split into two halves, one side is tables for seating and learning in other classes Miss Melby teaches aside from the foods classes ; The other side is the kitchen. The old kitchen had more of a residential design(Designed for people to live in). The new kitchen is a commercial design(design for professional purposes) resembling a restaurant kitchen. There is three stainless steel tables that are shared between 6 stations for preparing and putting together food. Along with three stainless steal gas stoves, a dish washer, and a steamer. The kitchen also contains three different sets of sinks, one is for hand washing, another for washing food, and the last is for washing up dishes. There is a lot better quality cooking utensils and more safe and easy to use kitchen appliances.
