The help is good.
Paraprofessionals are often the unseen aides who guide students and aid teachers in many helpful ways.
One of them is Nila Schuckert, who has had a direct impact on me and the other students at NUHS.
To give better insights on paraprofessionals at school, I interviewed Ms. Nila. She said she has been a para at NUHS for 10 years. “I started in Hutchinson for about 6 months and then I was at GFW till 4 years ago until I came here,” she said.
Nila said her favorite part of being a paraprofessional was “watching kids succeed – that moment when they take and see what they had been struggling with.”
Asked whether she enjoyed this year more than last year, she said, “Actually, I enjoyed this year more because I had both science and art.”
