First BOTC.. Are YOU ready?

Battle of the classes has always been a very exciting time for the students and teachers in our school. With the new building do you think it will be even bigger and better than before? We have asked a few students and teachers on their thoughts about BOTC and the events this year. Read on to hear what they have to say.
What event are you most excited to see or be a part of?
“I like watching the dodgeball and eating competitions!” -Camryn Schiro
“Dodgeball because the seniors will lose..” -Logan Kalis
“Dodgeball, because it’s fun to watch people get hit!” – Sean Howk
“I enjoy watching the ping pong tournaments.” – Glavine Schugel
There was talk about moving BOTC to the spring as a sort of Springfling event, how would you feel about this if it was to happen?
“It really would just depend on if they changed the activities.” -Duncan Osborne
“It’s probably better in the fall, people aren’t all that good with change.” – Lauren McMackin
“Yes, I would like to do something like BOTC in the spring. ” -Carli Botten
“Yes it would be a good idea because we would be doing more fun things throughout the year.” -Karlie Raymond
Do you enjoy battle of the classes? Why?
“Yes I do enjoy them and I think it’s a great opportunity to show our unity. I also think it really adds something unique to our homecoming that most other schools don’t have. ” -Señora Nelson

What are you looking forward to most about BOTC?
“Seeing the new venue. I don’t know how that is going to go. I’m just excited to see how different it is.” -Señora Nelson
“It being over. ” – Mr. Anderson
How teachable are your students in the hours before BOTC?
“We have great students and they’re always very excited about it all day, but they do understand that they need to get stuff done before going down to BOTC” -Señora Nelson
“They aren’t.” – Mr. Anderson
There was talk about moving BOTC to the spring, how would you feel about this if it was to happen?
“I am glad they kept it with homecoming. I wouldn’t be opposed but I’m glad they kept it how it is.” -Señora Nelson
“It would be interesting but having it in the summer is better.” – Mr. Anderson
