The school year is coming to an end for the seniors; after all the fun and good times, laughter, and school events, the end of March is the end of it all. There are plenty of ways to go about college, like two-year colleges, four-year colleges, a gap year, or even not going at all. Seniors are going to be starting a new life of their own after leaving New Ulm High School.

Senior Carley Achman said that she was going to miss the routine and how easy things were. One of her biggest struggles throughout her high school experience was tests and quizzes. She said, “I am going to look forward to growing up and seeing the real world and being on my own.”

Carley chose to go to college at Ridegewater in Hutchinson for nursing because she’s always been into helping people and being something in her life. “I think that this would work out for me and my future, but it would be hard and take a lot of time,” said Carley. She knows she has to work towards it and be motivated. Carley said, “I would see myself as successful and having a lot of money and a good, stable life.”

Advice Carley would give to her younger self: “Grades really do matter, and to try hard in school.”
