Some students have to wear the right outfit for the job, and others can wear what they want. Some students go to places of construction and others go to stores and many other options. That is a little bit of what an internship is about, and it is a great experience for students.

The Internship class is only for seniors, and they can do it in a number of ways. Here are a few ways they can do it: it can be a one-semester class and either semester, or you can do it both semesters. There also is a two-hour internship, where you need ten hours a week, or there is a one-hour internship, where you need five hours a week.

Ben Alfred is still going strong down at M.R. Paving & Excavating; he is learning many new things and is getting some hands-on experience, like doing a gradation. “I am Learning way more down here than I would be in school”, senior Intern Ben Alfred said.

There are many places around New Ulm that people can get into for an internship program. “I believe that the internship program is a great way for kids to get out of school and to figure out what they do and don’t like, but also get an experience,” Senior Noelle Hauge said. She is working hard at her internship down at Gallery 512 getting some hands-on experience and working in sales, also getting to talk to many new people. She does the one-hour internship for this semester. She also did it last semester.
