The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) held a successful gathering at the New Ulm High School gymnasium on February 24. This event took place from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and drew an eager small crowd to enjoy snacks, games, and Jesus.
Participants were greeted with a warm and inclusive atmosphere, staying true to the FCA mission of fostering relationships and encouraging one another in their faith. The evening was filled with lively conversations, fun activities, and moments of reflection, providing many attendees with a much-needed sense of community.

FCA creates many leadership opportunities for members. Within the group, you can step up and become a leader. “Leaders help organize events, pick out the bible verse being discussed, and lead discussions,” said FCA advisor Mr. Rodriguez. These experiences are valuable for personal growth and can be important for the future.
One leader, a junior, Naomi Friese, has been involved in FCA since her freshman year in High School. She emphasizes how important it is for her and other high school students like you to live out their faith in High School. “FCA is a great way to connect and build relationships with others,” said Naomi.
The event’s success underscores the FCA’s role in bringing people together, regardless of their athletic background, to support each other and strengthen their faith. The FCA event takes place every other Monday, and they hope to see you there! You can find more information on the school announcements or @nuarea_fca on Instagram.
