Landon Matter is working to improve his athletic abilities. He has consistently focused on building strength and endurance as part of his fitness goals. Over the past few months, he has been spending time training in the weight room following a well-planned routine provided by the lifting coaches in preparation for the upcoming track season.
Lifting coach Mr. Rodriguez said, “Off-season lifting provides an opportunity to stay consistent in building muscle and endurance because, after just 3 weeks of taking a break from a sport or activity, you can lose a lot of muscle and endurance.”
