Advanced welding student Cody Serbus was showing shop safety in the high school shop on Wednesday morning. NUHS students are required to show, take, and pass safety tests (handtool safety, tool safety, and general safety) in the shop required by the state. Ag/Shop teacher Mr. Nelson said, “Tests that are given to these high school students are for everyone’s safety, and so the kids cannot blame us teachers or the school for never teaching them safety rules.”
