Two 3D printers are new to Mrs. Mosher’s room. These two printers were at the CTE center before, but recently, they were brought to NUHS to help get people to join the Computer Applications and Technology class. These two specific printers are maker bot sketches and they make 3D objects by melting materials and putting them out onto the build plate in thin lines to build objects layer by layer. Mrs. Mosher says these can be useful because “they use a program called Tinker, so they are designing 3d objects that can be used in everyday life”.
