Actors from New Ulm High School are practicing for the new play, Romeo and Juliet. The show will be performed on April 4 at 7 p.m. and April 5 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at New Ulm High School.
The New Ulm production will bring “Romeo and Juliet” to the stage as you have never seen it before, the original story which will however be set during the Revolutionary War. Ellie Anderson (who plays Page) said, “This would be so fun to watch.”
One of the scenes most adored by the actors in the cast seems to be the dance scene: Romeo sneaks into the Capulet’s party to see the girl he obsesses over before he meets Juliet. “Fun and chaotic” is how most of the actors described it, and that is just one of the incredible scenes present in the play.
The entire production of the show, which includes beautiful dresses and a team of make-up artists, lighting assistants, and other staff, is excited and proud to bring this play to life and invites all students and teachers to attend the final debut.
