The final project in History Through Film, taught by Mrs. Gordon, involves each student making their movie. They decide the plot, characters, director, soundtrack, and every other aspect of historical film. After assembling a presentation with the info about their movie, every student presents their film to the rest of the class, who then vote on six awards: Best Soundtrack, Best Poster, Best Cast, Best Screenplay (Plot), Best Pitch, and Best Overall Film. These awards add a fun and exciting aspect to the otherwise arduous final project and motivate students to put in more effort to secure the prestigious honor of a Golden Gordon.
