As the first semester wraps up, many classes have started their final projects. One class in particular, Medical Terminology and Careers, is taking on the challenge of 10 minute presentations on medical careers. But, how did they get to this point?

Students at the beginning of the year were assigned a career portfolio where they had to write about 5 medical careers that cover the 5 bases of health care: health informatics, diagnostics services, therapeutic services, biotechnology research, and health informatics. Then they created a presentation to inform their peers about one of their careers of choice. There were 20 presentations in total ranging from OB/GYN to toxicology.
