Team work on the field breaks record

New Ulm boys soccer team puts a new 11-2-1 season in the books

The boys soccer team is going through one of its best moments in history, breaking the record of 10-8-0 in 2021. The team began the season losing against Southwest Minnesota Christian 3-1, which after that game the team won 11 of the 13 games they have currently played. The record was broken on September 19 against Waseca on Senior Night, ending the night with a score of 4-1 in favor of the Eagles. The team is led by Timothy Plocher (Tim). “My goal was to be a contender for best in the conference. We definitely beat my expectations,” said Plocher after qualifying for the Conference by beating Tri-City 1-0.

The New Ulm soccer team will have its first official conference game this Tuesday, October 1 at New Ulm High School Stadium, giving us the impression that the record is not over yet.
