The New Ulm High School General Livestock Team is practicing their judging skills during lunch period for them to be ready to place at regions for the opportunity at the state competition. Mr. Nelson, the advisor, said, “If these students on the team rise to their potential and remember the correct criteria and characteristics of the species they are judging at that time, our team has the power and potential to place and withhold a state spot.” The team has had to do some recruiting as they had lost 2 of the upperclassmen this last year because they graduated.
