September 19 the New Ulm girl’s tennis team hosted Belle Plaine. Karlee and Jocelyn picked up the team’s only win, as they played their long-awaited doubles match together despite typically being 1 and 2 singles. They had contrasting responses when asked what their goals were by the end of their season. Karlee said: “I know my section is going to be tough to win, but I am going into the section tournament hoping to make it to state in singles.” Jocelyn said: “I don’t really have any goals. I’m happy with my tennis career and what it has been. I think I just want to finish my career with a good attitude.”
