The New Ulm Eagles hosted the Fairmont Cardinals on Friday, September 27 in a hard-fought battle on the gridiron. The Fans were all dressed in pink for cancer awareness night while the players wore pink socks to show their support even on the field. Senior Keaton Weston said, “I thought the Eagles played very hard, and the student section was great with cheering them on throughout the whole ball game.”
With a student section like this, the Eagles should have a better chance with the upcoming matchups against the St. Peter Saints and the Jordan Hubman and Jaguars.
