The end of the year it is always a bitter-sweet moment for the senior class, knowing that their high school career is over, but starting the next chapter of their lives.
There are many graduating seniors this year, but let’s get some insight into the high school experience of three of them and the amazing things they are going to do after high school.

Jaden Jay’s senior picture
Jaden Jay
Jaden is one of the many seniors graduating from NUHS; she is going to college at SMSU in Marshell for criminal justice with a minor in psychology. When asked what is the most challenging task as a senior Jaden said, "Finishing all of my work in a year because there is no way that I can go a full year without having zero missing assignments, I will always have like one or three." Some advice she has for the next year's freshmen is to walk on the right side of the hall and not walk in clumps, stating, "You will know when you are older."
When the topic of senioritis came up, Jaden said, "It sucks." One of her highlights was BOTC. " I ind of wished they had it later in the year, but I absolutely loved it. We came together as a grade as a whole, and it's really fun when everyone gets into it." When asked about how she feels about graduating this year Jaden claims, "I am feeling reminiscent now that I am graduating. I am looking back on the 12 to 13 years I have been in school and it's really kind of crazy but I think I am ready to leave, but once I leave I know that I will regret it and I will want to go back."
Sophia Furth’s senior picture
Sophia Furth
Sophia is another one of the many seniors graduating this year from NUHS; she is going to college at Winona State, and she is undecided about a major, but she does want to minor in photography. When asked what is the most challenging task as a senior, Sophia said, "Just taking care of everything, I never realized how fast it goes. Especially prepping for graduation and registering for next year's college classes and all this stuff that comes with being a senior." Some advice that Sophia has for incoming freshmen is to get involved in activities and clubs we have at our school; she is in so many and has many friends because of it.
When the topic of senioritis came up Sophia claimed, "It feels like the exact opposite of senioritis. I don't want to leave yet." For Sophia, she feels like her highlight hasn't happened yet, stating, "I feel like that will be graduation." When asked how she feels about graduating this year, she said, "Definitely reminiscent; I feel like I am not ready to graduate, but at the same time, in reality, I am ready. I have to be ready, so I am going to be, but I am going to miss it."

Alyssa is another senior who is graduating this year from NUHS; she is going to college at SMSU and is going for marketing. When Alyssa was asked what is the most challenging task as a senior she said, "Staying motivated, making sure you get all the stuff done that you need to get done." Some advice she has for incoming freshmen is to give yourself a buffer and be prepared for what is to come.
When the topic of senioritis came up, Alyssa stated, "It's been a little hard to keep going and getting my stuff done, but it's going." When asked about the highlight of her senior year, Alyssa claimed, "The BOTC is always fun, and I think prom is going to be fun too, but it hasn't happened yet." When Alyssa was asked how it feels like to graduate this year, she said, "I am excited, I think it is going to be fun, and I am ready to leave."
