Since the new school has been built, Jefferson has been changing as well. They redid the bathrooms so they aren’t as old as they had been when we were there. Also, they redid the front of the school, there isn’t a canopy anymore and the entrance is now at a diagonal. Probably the saddest part is that the playground has been moved from the back of the school to the middle of the Elementary and the middle school. Back by the lunch room where the doors leading to the outside used to be is now a motor skills room. As we interviewed one of our previous teachers who was a Kindergarten teacher who now is a First grade teacher we wanted to see how she liked it. She said how she didn’t like it because she loves teaching Kindergarten. We also interviewed one of the paras who have been there since we had went there and they said they like how the school is set up now more than before because now its easier to help each other if they are having problems with one student.
