The NUHS media center specialist Paula Clark’s last day is today, 2/15!

Many students and staff were shocked a couple of weeks ago when Clark announced: “I’m leaving soon… Moving to Rochester.” She said her husband got a new job in Rochester, MN, so they will be moving on. They plan to live in an apartment while they look for a house.

Paula said for now she won’t have a job and will help out around the apartment, but in a few months she hopes to be back working. “I might go back to working at Mayo Clinic. I worked there for twenty years before we came to New Ulm.”

“This year’s graduating class is extra special to me because their freshman year was my first year here too, so it’s a little bittersweet,”  she said. “I do plan on coming back this spring for graduation, I wouldn’t want to miss it! I even considered staying here in New Ulm until the end of the school year,” she said, but wanted to stick by her husband’s side.

Students and staff wish Clark and her husband the best but are sad to see her go.
