Spring is finally here. Student Council is providing NUHS grades 9-12 with some fun outdoor activities. These activities are taking place on Friday, May 19th. Lunch that day will take place outside. Hyvee will be grilling for the lunch ladies and students are invited to grab some food and sit in the sunshine for the entire hour. That’s right, you Freshman and Sophomores finally get an entire lunch without having to go to resource. During this time, some outdoor games will be provided. It is suggested that you bring a blanket, sunscreen, or your own small games to play if you choose to do so (frisbee, hacky sack, football, etc.) If it rains on this day, the lunch will be moved indoors with resource time like usual.

That evening Student Council is also providing an outdoor movie night. The most-popular voted movie was “Grown-ups” and this even will take place on the outdoor patio of NUHS. Admission is FREE to all NUHS students grades 9-12. You are invited to bring your own blanket or lawn chair as well as sealed snacks and beverages. Everyone can start arriving around 8:45, the movie will start at 9pm. If it rains this evening, the movie will be moved to an indoor facility and will be shown in the NUHS Commons Area.
