For as long as I can remember, the school has always had posters hanging on its walls. These posters, typically motivational, match the classroom they are in – for example, you would find english-oriented posters in an English classroom and so on. But when was the last time you gained motivation from one of these posters? Throughout the years I’ve noticed these posters hanging on the walls of the school. Sitting, collecting dust, and never being swapped or changed out. That is, if they were being changed they hadn’t caused enough change to be noticed.

Now, I’m not saying that the school has to get rid of these posters; just that we mix in more student works along side them. Student works have always created a more inviting environment that feels unique. Such environments can be seen in few areas of the school, which needs to change.
