Monday night 7-9 was New Ulm’s speech spot light night. This is where speech students preform their competition piece for the public. The night started off with students preforming in the english classrooms, then after everyone went down stairs for juice and cookies. Once refreshed everyone headed into the auditorium for five more speeches. Megan H. ,the announcer, introduced each speaker and their piece. First was Sam D. in the prose category and a senior.  Second was Sicily T. and Anna U. who are in the duos category and are both seniors. After that is was Megan H. who is in the category humorous and a senior.  of Then it was Mackenzie L. who is also in prose and a senior. Lastly, we ended the night with our beloved junior, Nick S., who has been dominating this speech season in the category of humorous. We wish everyone luck at section on April 8th.
