The New Ulm Rotary Club had their Scholarship Banquet on Monday night where they honored the top 15% of students from New Ulm High School, Cathedral High School, and Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School.The banquet was held in the Martin Luther College Gym, and the college’s cafeteria catered the event. Chicken and beef were the options for the meal, served with mashed potatoes, salad, corn, and dessert. Members of the New Ulm Rotary Club were present, as well as some members from each school’s school board. Foreign exchange students were also invited to come. Each student was given a certificate, and Desirae Hertling won the Service Above Self Award from New Ulm High School.
