NUHS Choir continues to excel this year as Concert Choir achieved a Superior rating and Bel Canto achieved an Excellent rating at Contest. Contest was held on Monday, March 13th at Chaska High School. The Spring choir concert will be held tonight, Monday, March 20th in the NUHS Auditorium at 7pm. Concert Choir and Bel Canto will be performing their contest songs as well as some other pieces. Men of Note and the Oak Street Singers will also be showcasing some songs. Previously known as “Payne Street Singers”, the director, Kim Horning, made the executive decision to change the groups’ name in regards to the location of the new school. Oak Street will be singing and dancing to a fifties song, “Mambo Italiano” and a medley featuring a few hits from the seventies. Come listen to some wonderful choral music and ready to watch a energetic performance from all choirs.
