The Eagles took on the Hutchinson Tigers and came out with a 71-66 win from Hutchinson last night. New Ulm fell behind early in the game but came back to take a 5 point lead going into halftime. They kept the lead for the rest of the game but came close by the end of the game. Hutch got it to within 1, but senior Alex Lund was able to hit 2 free throws with less than a minute to keep New Ulm in front. Conner Foley lead the Eagles with 23 points and Reece Melby had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. The Eagles next game is Friday night at Windom.
