Last winter’s infamous Polar Vortex seems to be making a comeback this winter. While the cold and snow started to hit late last week, it is still a chilling shock to Southern Minnesota. With the windchill reaching -25, it has some people wondering what will be in store for the school year. How cold is too cold for students to be transported to and from school? With temperatures decreasing daily, the need to start tapping into our snow days might be in the foreseeable future. While KEYC is still predicting highs to be in the single digits, the “real feel” is in the negatives, thus making it literally as cold as ice. Bundle up, and don’t let the frostbite bite!
