The winter sports practices have finally started for all athletes! This years dance team has started early and is ready to make progress. The Eagles Elite Dance Team is ready for another successful season.

I interviewed Coach Jensen and asked her what she planned to do this year to change or improve the team from last year. Her response was, “We are starting to split our practice times and are having each type of dance have the same amount of practice. We are also perfecting each part of the song, and taking every part slowly until we get it perfect.”

A few of the dance girls also gave their opinion. I asked Rylee Wendinger on how the team has grown since last year and how the team has improved. Her response to this was, “We bonded a lot last season so this year we are starting off with a strong relationship. Also, we are working even more on our skills than we did last year.” I also asked Sarah Preisinger about her thoughts on how this upcoming season will go and she responded with, “ We have a great group of 20 girls this year including two senior captains , Morgan Wilfahrt and Camryn Schiro. They have been great leaders for not only the varsity team, but also the junior varsity team. We are working hard to perform a clean routine in both kick and jazz and I am looking forward to the improvement as the season continues.” Overall the Eagles Elite team is very great group of young women who will bring our school much pride!
