Sargent Byro From the U.S. National Guard visited NUHS Tuesday, February 6 to speak on behalf of the National Guard and allow the students a chance to try an MRE (Meal Ready to Eat). Byro has been involved in the U.S. National Guard for the better part of 7 years, he works as a recruiter going from school to school in order to advocate the U.S. military and better inform students on what its all about. “They aren’t that bad but after eating so many I wouldn’t prefer it” stated Byro after he was asked what his opinion was on MREs.
