With the canceling of last year’s spring season, many kids were extremely distraught that they were unable to play in their sports. But a new year brings new opportunities. On Saturday, April 10th the New Ulm boys tennis team was sent to St. James for an early-season doubles tournament. With little practice they had the week prior, they headed off to face the cold and uncertainty of the other team’s skills. Junior Dylen Carreon had this to say: “It was a little nerve-racking being the first meet, but overall it was a learning experience.” (Parker Sunderman)
