A Healthy Option for the New Ulm community
November 3, 2017
Many students at NUHS have been making their way downtown to Crush 80/20. Many people have nicknamed it “Crush”. Crush 80/20 is part of the Herbalife nutrition club.
Crush is a healthier option for all ages. At crush 80/20 the basics you’ll receive are an aloe shot, tea and a shake. The aloe shot is great for your digestive health, while it coats and soothes the stomach. Then, you have the choice of hot or cold tea in a variety of flavors. You can also get a lifted tea, which boosts your energy with natural based caffeine. The tea is great for your metabolism and provides you with lasting energy without a crash. Finally, you receive your choice of a shake, which is nutrient-packed and provides a healthy meal replacement with 24g of protein. Other options include a fat burning donut shot, a beauty booster made with collagen or a lava energy booster.
When asked what the two most popular shakes are, store owner Cathay Rosenau responded, “cherry dipped cone and Elvis”.
Rosenau added, “I wanted to provide the town with a quick healthy option.” When asked why she decided to open Crush in New Ulm, Rosenau said, “I grew up near here in Hanska, so it made sense.” Rosenau originally worked at a similar Herbalife nutrition club in Glencoe, MN, and loved the idea of it.
Rosenau also does one on one coaching to help people meet their goals – whether it be losing weight, gaining lean muscle or becoming healthier and maintaining weight.
Lexi Nelson, a frequent customer at Crush 80/20, added, “It tastes good and is a healthy option; also, talking to Cathay makes it fun to stop in.”
Crush 80/20 offers a new healthy option for those who are tired of eating grease-filled meals and want to make healthier choices.
